Greetings from Cape Town! It has been almost a year since we moved to the fairest Cape (one week to go…) – a good but challenging year. New job, new home, new city, new friends… a whole lotta new! We got 2010 off to a great start with New Years at Rhyder’s place on the slopes of Table Mtn (Thanks Rhyder & Claire – you guys rock). The company was a laugh a minute and the views were stunning.

Most days of the new year were spent relaxing at home and taking dips in our splash pool… I know,  I know, we live so close to the sea but when you are in such a relaxed state the pool is just what you need On Saturday (the 2nd of Jan) we took ourselves off to the wine farms (a favourite retreat).

We discovered per chance, the most amazing wine farm, Eaglevlei. Admittedly we did not do a tasting… we only got as far as lunch! One of the best meals ever! If you happen to be in Stellenbosch area it is very very worth a visit! Check out their website: www.eaglevlei.com
